In her clinic Mary welcomes many patients. Among them is the young Amy, who is warned: at night she must never leave her room, so as not to disturb other guests. In pain, Amy ignores the ban and leaves the room to discover that Mary hides a dark and deadly secret. A mystery that the viewers of the River Film Festival will discover in the 7 minutes of “Amy”, a short film by the American director Gustavo Cooper.
On the banks of the Piovego, the fourth tranche of the international Courts in competition is on the scene, which today shows 7 films from as many countries (USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Poland and Hungary).
In a vision also “Kubrick by Candlelight”, affectionate and romantic tribute by the director David O ‘Reilly to Stanley Kubrick, who in 1973 brought in Ireland – on the set of the film “Barry Lyndon” – the entire British Army. The narrating voice is that of Brian Cox.
